The goal of the company is to create drinks that are healthy for both the mind and the body, meaning drinks include natural flavorings from real fruit and vegan-friendly ingredients but have barely any sugar. neuroSonic and neuroGasm, in particular, are the brand’s versions of an energy drink.
How Much Caffeine Do Neuro Energy Drinks Have?
The neuroSonic and the neuroGasm both contain 100 mg of caffeine per 14.5 ounces, which isn’t that bad as far as energy drinks go. Most energy drinks contain 140 mg and up of caffeine per 16 ounces (and even 16 ounces of a Neuro energy drink should only contain roughly 112 mg of caffeine). So, if you need a caffeine fix but don’t want to overdo it, Neuro could be the right drink for you. How Do Neuro Energy Drinks Compare to Coffee?
So, Neuro energy drinks have a relatively lower amount of caffeine than the majority of other energy drinks, but how do they compare to coffee’s caffeine content? Well, the answer depends on where you’re getting your coffee from, the type you’re drinking, the roast used, and the serving size. Unlike energy drinks where each can contains the exact same amount of caffeine, the caffeine content in coffee can range vastly depending upon the above variables.
An average cup of brewed coffee will contain roughly 95 mg of caffeine, though. But a shot of espresso averages 125 mg, and even decaf coffee can contain up to 7 mg. And don’t forget about coffee from fast food joints and coffee shops! A small Dunkin Donuts coffee can have 215 mg of caffeine, while a small McDonald’s coffee only contains 109 mg—that’s a pretty significant difference!
So, to sum up, neuroSonic and neuroGasm have approximately similar caffeine contents as a cup of brewed coffee you’d make at home or a small McDonald’s coffee.
