This cocktail has the perfect blend of caffeine, chocolate, and alcohol. Combine fresh espresso with vodka, chocolate syrup, and tasty liqueurs to make a chocolate espresso martini worth serving again and again.
Make a shot of espresso using your favorite espresso maker. You can also substitute ¼ cup of strong brewed coffee. Let your espresso cool while you work on the next step.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, chocolate liqueur, Kahlua, and chocolate syrup. Shake well.
Pour a little chocolate syrup into a shallow bowl. Pour cocoa powder into a second shallow bowl. Dip the rim of your martini glass in the chocolate followed by the cocoa powder.
Now add your cooled coffee to the cocktail shaker. Shake thoroughly.
Pour your chocolate espresso martini into the martini glass, leaving the ice in the shaker. Float a coffee bean in the drink if you’d like, or sprinkle on cocoa powder as an effortless garnish.
