When you’re craving a refreshing, coffee-flavored treat but are sick of your usual iced coffee or cold brew, frozen coffee might be just what the coffee doctor ordered. It’s easy to make, delicious, and perfect for switching things up when you need a change of pace.
Brew a cup of coffee. You can brew a cup exactly how you normally would, and it will work great, but we like to make our coffee slightly stronger for frozen coffee since we’re mixing it with ice and don’t want it to get diluted.
If you have time, let the coffee cool for 10 minutes before you continue. Using hot coffee will leave you with a sickly, lukewarm drink instead of the refreshing frozen one you want.
Mix the coffee, ice, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and creamer – if you’re using it – together in your blender. Continue blending until all of the ingredients are well-mixed, and the consistency is light and fluffy.
If you’re feeling fancy, top with whipped cream and use the chocolate syrup as a drizzle. Yum!
