Creamy, smooth, and full of interesting spices, the soy chai latte is a delicious vegan, dairy-free treat. Use a high-quality chai tea blend for the best results! We think you’ll be amazed by how well soy milk blends into this creamy drink.
Make a strong cup of chai tea. Follow the instructions on your tea box, or steep the tea leaves in hot water for at least 7 minutes. Then remove the tea bag or filter out the loose tea.
In a saucepan, combine the chai tea with soy milk. You can use a little more or less milk depending on how creamy you like your chai. Heat over medium-low, stirring regularly.
Add your favorite sweetener and stir until it dissolves. We like to use agave, honey, or plain white sugar.
Remove the pan from the heat. Use an immersion blender or milk steam wand to froth the chai latte.
Pour your soy chai latte into two large coffee mugs, spooning the milk foam on top. Then sprinkle with cinnamon and cardamom for a beautiful treat!
